Years working in high end retail taught me the importance of aesthetic and the joy of indulgence. The combination of these experiences laid the foundation for One Girl Cookies.”

“It wasn’t until I was in my 20’s that I realized that I really liked dough. I found myself working at a bread company in Virginia and it was there that my love affair with starters and proofing began. The satisfaction that I got from a perfectly formed loaf led me to apply to pastry school. I loved every minute and while there, also learned how much I enjoyed sharing my creations with those around me. It was something that I wanted to do every day.”
