We hate rules too, but we must have a few to ensure your packages arrive safe & sound. Please read carefully.
We make everything to order so please allow a little time for your order to arrive. We strive to have all orders arrive within 3-6 business days from the date the order was placed. This allows us to provide you with the freshest box of our perishable sweets as possible.
We do not typically ship on Fridays in order to avoid your cookies sitting in a warehouse over the weekend. If a timely arrival would require your sweets to be shipped on Friday, please let us know in the delivery instructions.
Some of the girls don’t do well in intense heat. During summer months, Standard shipments to warmer climates will be generally be sent out on Monday and Tuesday only to avoid your cookies sitting in a warehouse over the weekend. Please allow extra time for arrival. We also recommend that you check to be sure that someone will be present to receive the package so it does not sit outside for an extended period of time.
Additional time may be required for orders shipping during the month of December or for any order exceeding ten boxes.
All gift box orders will be shipped via Periship via FedEx. We are unable to use UPS or USPS.
We do not ship internationally.
Please double check all shipping addresses that you provide. FedEx requires exact information and will not ship to PO boxes. Customers are responsible for any charges incurred as a result of errors made in shipping due to incorrect or incomplete addresses. This includes any additional shipping or delivery charges, as well as the cost of replacement cookies in order to ensure the arrival of a fresh product.
FedEx does not consider Saturday or Sunday a business day. If you require Saturday delivery, please call us to make arrangements.
Delivery in NYC
Items such as cakes and cupcakes are delivered by hand via SDS Global Logistics rather than shipped. The fee for Monday-Friday is $25, Saturdays $50, and Sundays $60. Additional charges apply for larger orders.
Our delivery zone includes all areas in Manhattan south of 100th St as well as certain areas of Brooklyn (Cobble Hill, Boerum Hill, Red Hook, Carroll Gardens, Park Slope, Ft. Greene, Brooklyn Heights, Prospect Heights, & DUMBO).
We hand-deliver packages on Monday-Friday between the hours of 11am-2pm. (During the month of December, it is our peak season and our delivery window is expanded to between the hours of 9am-5pm.) We cannot guarantee specific delivery times within that window. If you require your sweets to be delivered on the weekend or during a different timeframe during the week, please contact us; additional delivery charges will apply.
As much as we’d love to get your gifts out in a NY minute, we make everything to order; therefore, we cannot accommodate any same day orders.
We encourage you whenever possible to send OGC gifts to NYC addresses with a doorman or to a business address. For buildings without a doorman, a phone number for the recipient is required; we will call ahead to be sure that someone will be home to accept the package. We will make one delivery attempt and do our very best to get your gift into the hands of the recipient, but we cannot guarantee delivery. If the recipient has indicated that they will be home, but they are not there to accept delivery, we will not leave the package unattended at the door. If the package is undeliverable on the first attempt and we must return a second time, or if the recipient requests the delivery be made to an alternate address, the sender will be charged a second delivery fee.
We do our very best to get every package to its intended recipient by the date promised. Unfortunately, there are occasional occurrences that are beyond our control that prevent that from happening. We hope you understand.
